Booking It

Ring or send photographs first. A picture of each wheel in daylight, straight on and then at an angle so the rim edge is visible, tells us what we are coming to and lets us give you a proper price rather than a guess.

Tell us the vehicle, the wheel size, whether the wheels are diamond cut, and whether anything has been repaired before. We are open 9am till 6pm, Monday to Sunday; same-day is possible where the job suits it if it is pre-booked, and weekend appointments are available on request.

What "Suitable Work" Means

That phrase matters, so it is worth being straight about it. Cosmetic repair work - kerb damage, scuffs, surface deterioration, flaking finishes, colour restoration - is what the mobile setup is for.

Not every job suits a visit. Tell us what you want done and we will tell you honestly whether it is mobile work or whether your wheels need handling differently, before anything is booked. We would rather have that conversation on the phone than on your driveway.

Where the Van Needs to Be

Somewhere we can get to the car and work around it: a driveway, a work car park, a quiet space at the kerb. Room to open up beside the vehicle, and reasonable access.

A car boxed in on a narrow street with cars either end is the commonest thing that makes a visit harder than it needs to be. If your parking is tight, say so when you book and we will work out the best plan rather than turning up and finding out.

What to Have Ready

The car accessible and not needed for a few hours. Wheels reasonably clean if you can manage it - not essential, but it helps. The locking wheel nut key somewhere you can find it, which is the single most common thing people cannot lay hands on.

If you are at work, tell us where to find you and whether there is anything we need to know about the site.

Weather

It matters for finish quality on work carried out outside. If conditions are not right we will say so and rearrange rather than press on and hand back something that will not last.

That is occasionally inconvenient and it is the right call. A rushed finish in the wrong conditions is exactly the sort of work we end up stripping off other people's wheels.

If your town is not on the list, ring anyway. The list is not the boundary.
